Kinnon LaRose Returns to Keeneland for a Full-Circle Racing Moment

For Kinnon LaRose, a return to Keeneland represents much more than another day at the races—it marks a full-circle moment in the beginning of his career as a Thoroughbred trainer.

LaRose first met his mentor, Tom Amoss, at Keeneland in October 2020. That meeting began a six-year journey with the Amoss stable, where LaRose progressed from learning the fundamentals of horsemanship to becoming head assistant and, ultimately, taking over the majority of the stable as Amoss transitioned from day-to-day training.

Now, LaRose returns to Keeneland as a trainer, saddling Oscar’s Hope in the $400,000 Lafayette Stakes.
