Kinnon LaRose Racing added another milestone to its young training career as Modo captured the $75,000 Bluebonnet Stakes at Lone Star Park. Making her move from the gate, Modo led wire-to-wire to win the 6 1/2-furlong Texas-bred stakes by 5 1/2 lengths, giving LaRose his first career stakes victory as a trainer. Racing for Joel Politi, Modo covered the distance in 1:16.31 over a fast track, earning her third stakes victory and improving her record to five wins from 11 starts.
