Kinnon LaRose continues the early stages of his training career with Authentic Gallop, one of his first starters in Louisiana, competing in the $100,000 Evangeline Mile at Evangeline Downs.

The stakes opportunity marks another milestone for LaRose as he takes over the stable previously trained by Tom Amoss. LaRose joined the Amoss operation in 2020 and served as head assistant before stepping into the role of head trainer.

Authentic Gallop entered the Evangeline Mile with momentum, having won his previous two starts for Amoss at Delta Downs. His recent form included a restricted stakes victory and a career-best 84 Beyer Speed Figure, making him one of the leading contenders in the field.

For LaRose, the opportunity represents more than another stakes starter. It is part of the ongoing transition to his own training program, built on horsemanship, preparation, teamwork, and lessons learned over years of mentorship.

As Kinnon LaRose Racing continues to grow, each start provides another opportunity to develop horses, build partnerships, and establish a program focused on the long-term success of the Thoroughbred athlete.
